Champions of the Joust!

In an Epic Showcase of skill and determination, the Guild Joust successfully ended with not just one, but Two Champions!

Defending for the second time since the conception of the Guild Joust, Champion Zorixion retained his title!  No easy task, as he faced the Hokage, Ogami in the Semi's and the mighty Tallos in the Finals.  Ogami gave Zorixion trouble in the first of 3 rounds, but Zorixion triumphed, moving on to face Tallos fresh off a 3 round win of his own!  Zorixion then proceeded to best Tallos 3 rounds in a row, with Tallos fighting hard each round, resulting in many close calls!  Indeed, Zorixion truly earned his place as Champion!

The Joust also featured many new faces as well!  The Priestess Môrgaine, the Hellish Atsu, and Jestian the Brave all donned the lance for the first time this day, and established the Jr. Circuit!  In their own competition, coached by Ogami and the Mighty Gorntock, these intrepid adventurers duked it out in an Ironman showdown that ended with Jestian earning for the first time ever the title of Jr Champion!  He not only earned this title, but also a spot in the regular competition for a shot at the defending Champion, Zorixion!  He faced Tallos in the Semi-Finals, but was overcome by the more experienced rider.  Still, for his first performance, he showed great determination and courage, and we are proud of him, as we are of all newcomers to the Joust!
