The evenings event began with the intrepid Jr. Circuit, with the Jr. Champion, Jestian, returning to defend the title. Contesting him was the Arcane Imraith and Rentok the Hunter. In a long and fervent Ironman competition, the newly lanced and mounted Rentok, through sheer will and determination, tilted the defending champ in the first of 3 wins! Imraith gave him a hard fight, but in the end, also fell before the lance of Rentok! And in the final bout, though neck and neck all the way, Rentok defeated Jestian yet again in a stunning upset victory, thereby earning himself the title of Jr. Champion, as well as a shot at the Grand Prize!
But earning his place in the Senior Competition was merely the first step, as he would face Senior Circuit veterans, Gorntock the Mighty, and Ogami Hokage!
The Mighty Gorntock seemed to make short work of the upstart champion, but was subsequently tilted by the Hokage. But Ogami would not win a second round against the Mighty One, leaving that same upstart, the Jr. Champion Rentok, the only obstacle in the way of the Championship. However, in a stunning twist of courage and sheer luck, Rentok defeated Gorntock in Sudden Death, and earned his spot in Guild History as the first ever Undisputed Champion of the Joust!!
As the winner of both Jr. and Sr. Jousting Titles in One Day, the Cunning Rentok earned not only title and praise, but also 125g in prize coin! Needless to say, this feat has proven Rentok's innate skill at the Joust! Therefore, the Title of Jr. Champion will be opened and up for grabs at the Jr. Circuit's very next Guild Joust!
